Peachtree City United Methodist Church invites the public to attend a free concert featuring pianist Jim Hendricks Sunday, Aug. 27, at 5 p.m., at 225 Robinson Road, Peachtree City.

“Hendricks’ arrangements of traditional gospel and contemporary Christian music are characterized by unmatched technical ability and passion,” a church spokesperson said. “Because of the fun, humor, energy, and variety of Jim’s performances, people of all ages with diverse tastes in music are sure to enjoy this program.”

Hendricks has performed in churches all over the land, including the Crystal Cathedral. He also has been a featured symphonic orchestra soloist of Rachmaninoff’s piano music and has performed with such greats as the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Dave Brubeck, Della Reese, Jack Jones, Clark Terry, Louie Bellson, and many others.
