Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone will offer a Community Disciple Bible Study on the Book of Genesis next month. The 10-week, short term, study will meet on Wednesdays, beginning Sept. 20, and is offered at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Pastor Scott Pickering will conduct the study.

Student handbooks are available from the church at a cost of $10 each.

Deadline for registration is Sunday, Aug. 27. An orientation session for people new to Disciple Bible Studies will be held on Sunday, Aug. 27, at 5 p.m.

Those interested in participating are asked to contact the church office to register, 770-306-7537.

The office is open between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

The church is at 351 Jenkins Road in Tyrone, across from Sandy Creek High School.
