Lucy B. Lancaster, 89, Fayetteville, died Aug. 16, 2006. She was born Feb. 22, 1917 in Jackson, Ala. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lancaster. She was retired from the City of Atlanta where she worked in the Parks Department. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Bill Goolsby officiating. Interment was at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Stockbridge. Survivors include sons, James Lancaster, Tampa, Fla., Joe Lancaster, Kansas, and Michael Lancaster, Carrollton; and daughters, Evelyn and Al Pruitt, Fayetteville, and Cheryl Lancaster, Forest Park. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
