Geraldine Cooper, 67, Griffin, died Aug. 11, 2006. She was born Nov. 4, 1938 in Lake Park, Lowndes County, Ga. She was preceded in death by two sisters. Memorial services were at the Strong Tower Church of God, Jonesboro, with the Rev. Dan Atkinson officiating. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Earnest Cooper,, Griffin; a son, Dale and Vickie Cooper, Fayetteville; a daughter, Renée and David Cahill, Griffin; and grandchildren, Ricky Cooper, Christy Cahill, and Zachery Cooper. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
