Oak Grove is the “Most Fit” elementary school in Fayette, according to the Peachtree City Rotary Club.

The club gave its “Most Fit” award to the school for having the highest percentage of staff members participate in the October 15 Fun Run. This is the second consecutive year the school has received the award.

Oak Grove’s students and staff are involved in running activities throughout the year. There is a student running club that runs every morning from 7:20-7:45 a.m. and many staff members participate in marathons such as the Disney and Niagara Falls Marathon. Principal Bonnie Hancock is also an avid runner.
