The Fayette County Youth Council of the NAACP is jumping off its first year of Peer to Peer Tutoring. This new tutorial program will focus on all school subjects and standardized tests, such as CRCT, GHGT and SAT of all students grades K-12. The program aspires to enlighten and help the youth of the community with core and other academic subjects. A primary goal of the program is to ensure that every child graduates.

Peer-to-Peer tutoring will take place weekly at various community libraries and is contingent upon the ability to get tutors to volunteer for the program. Peer-to-Peer tutoring is seeking students and adults of all ages who would like to help tutor in all subject areas. Groups and organizations with or without community service requirements such as Beta Club, 4-H, and NHS are also welcome to join in this effort.

If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a tutor for Peer-to-Peer tutoring, please contact Mrs. Jones at 770-716-7392 or amattjones@aol.com to obtain an application that will be sent via email.
