Fayette County High’s Golden Memories Yearbook has been inducted into the National Scholastic Press Association’s Hall of Fame.

The yearbook is only the second in Georgia and the 42nd in the nation to be inducted into the hall of fame. Publications are inducted after having received 10 consecutive All American Award ratings.

The 2005 edition of Golden Memories has been chosen as Best Yearbook in the nation in the 1,800-2,200 student category by the American Scholastic Press Association. Additionally, the Interscholastic Press Association has awarded the yearbook an All-Southern rating making the publication eligible for the Scroggins Award, which is given to the best publication in the nation.
