Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity hosts its 2nd annual “Hunters for Habitat” dinner to be held Thursday, August 24th at the Coweta County Fairgrounds off Pine road in Newnan. The dinner event will be catered by Johnny Brown’s BBQ, and is a family friendly event. Funds generated from ticket sales, raffle and auctioned items will benefit the Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity. This fundraiser is designed to begin and complete the Affiliate’s 26th home in partnership with local businesses, churches and individual donor support. The future site for the home is North Street, Newnan. Items to be raffled and or auctioned include guns, a gun safe, 5x8 Trailer, ATV, Truck Bed Liners and more. Door prizes will also be included for attendees. Ticket outlets are at Welden Financials; Southtowne Motors in Newnan; Gables Sporting Goods, or the Habitat office at 1082 Hwy 16 E. Tickets may also be purchased at the door the night of the event. Doors will open at 5:30 pm and the fundraiser will end by 9:30 pm.
