Floyd E. Chapman, 79, Fairburn, died Aug. 14, 2006. He was born June 25, 1927 in Fayette County, son of Hezekiah and Grace Alice Houston Chapman. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian Anderson officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park. Survivors include is wife, Helen Harper Chapman, Fairburn; sons, Steve and Sharon Chapman, Keno Bay, Mexico, Tony Chapman and Michelle O’Quinn, Sharpsburg, and Mike and Kari Chapman, Senoia; stepsons, Ronnie and Phyllis Perkins, and Ricky Perkins; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
