Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church on Ga.Hwy. 54 and Carriage Lane in Peachtree City will have its second annual yard sale this Friday and Saturday to benefit orphans in Uganda. Last year’s sale generated $7,000 in sales revenue and donations for the orphans. “People were able to buy clothes, toys, and games for their kids for prices comparable and even less than those offered by thrift stores,” a church spokesperson said. Items to be donated may be dropped off at the church’s fellowship hall through Thursday, Aug. 17, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and between 6 and 8 p.m. Call or e-mail Carolyn Rosser with questions about the sale, 770-487-2664 or rosserg@bellsouth.net. login to post comments |
