Parents who are looking for a quality activity for their son that incorporates outdoor activities, recognition of achievement, a safe environment with friends and other families that care about values, citizenship, and fitness, then are invited to sign up for Cub Scouts.

All boys in grades 1-5 and their parents are welcome to drop in at any time for registration on either Thursday, August 17 or Friday, August 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. or on Saturday, August 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The registrations will occur at either the Fayette County Community School, 205 LaFayette Drive, Fayetteville, Ga., or at the Gathering Place, 203 McIntosh Trail, Peachtree City, Ga.

Registration is $16 for 16 months, or take advantage of the full registration package which is $114 for first graders, $118 for second and third graders, and $128 for fourth and fifth graders (includes 16 months registration, Boys’ Life magazine, handbook and a discounted full uniform package). Note that some Packs do fundraisers and/or charge dues to cover the cost of weekly activities.
