Fresh off a re-election victory, Fulton County Commissioner Bill Edwards shares his thoughts on annexation and municipalization with members of South Fulton Chamber of Commerce at the Aug. 10 Business Forum. While he leans toward unincorporated South Fulton remaining as such, Williams was clear that the areas have the right to form and existing cities have the right to annex. Williams was also clear that annexation must be done properly, citing as an example the recent inappropriate attempts by Union City, adding that, “developers want to go into places like Union City so they can have their way.”
