Velocity offers challenge to Packers, camp for hoopsters

Velocity Sports Performance will host the Packer Challenge on Monday, Sept. 4. The event is open to the first 200 Peachtree City Packers to register. The Challenge will be divided into two age groups; 6-10 and 11 and up. Check-in starts at 9:30 a.m. and the event will run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Players will compete in an obstacle course and a golf cart push and there will also be a Coaches Challenge. There will be lots of food, fun and more.

The registration fee before the day of the event is $10 and registration at the event will be $20.

Velocity Sports Performance and Coach Jim Waller of Landmark Christian School are proud to announce the 2006 VSP Basketball Fall Clinic.
Velocity is excited to have teamed up with one of the most successful coaches in Georgia High School Basketball to improve the athleticism and game for hoopsters in the upcoming the fall season. Velocity is where athletes of all ages (5th Grade & Up) and skill levels maximize their athletic potential. With the help of their professionally certified coaches, players will actually experience the thrill of accelerated gains in speed, power, agility, endurance and balance.

Here is how the clinic works: there will be two workout sessions per week for six weeks (Tuesdays & Thursdays), workouts are an hour and a half in length and sessions will last from Sept. 12-Oct. 19.

The cost of the clinic is $295 plus a $25 enrollment fee for non-Velocity Sports members, while the cost is $100 with the Peachtree City Youth Basketball enrollment special.
