Easy to understand a mother's emotion

Mothers are supposed to have an emotional base that says "he is just a kid" or "my child could never do that". We see this on TV most every night when one of the thugs gets shot. That is why God designates a mother AND a father for a family....one for tough love and one for consoling in time of need. However, if today's youngsters want to follow their "heroes" of rap/gansta' music, NBA egomaniacs or NFL thugs, then they are submitting to playing "in the adult world". This exposes them to adult penalties. Of course, the real problem lies with the parent(s) who obviously teach them nothing, but just let them grow up physically with no mental or spiritual guidance. This leads to the mentality that they can just "take" whatever they want because "if you don't get caught, then you must not be guilty".....a pathetic value system. I coached high school football for 20 years and I have watched the "idols" that boys place in their lives. Boys of this "culture" always travel with an "entourage" or two or more. That is their only "security" when they engage in confrontation (fights, robberies, etc.). As far as PTC police, they do a great job, especially with the liberal judges in our society that do not make charges "stick".
