Several area residents were named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Samford University: Meredith Ann Campbell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Campbell; Kathryn Leanne Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Davis; Amberleigh MacKenzie Kirk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kirk; Julianne Janell Parsons, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Parsons; and Erin Margaret Ramsey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ramsey, all of Peachtree City, Ga. Robert Trevor Moore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Moore; and Janna Elain Murdock, daughter of Diane Mann, all of Sharpsburg, Ga. To qualify for the honor, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework.
