The Rev. Allan Todd, 44, of Peachtree City, died August 3, 2006 of a sudden illness. He was born Sept. 15, 1961, in Houston, Texas. He was a minister in the United Methodist Church, having served as senior pastor, associate pastor and youth minister in several metro Atlanta churches over the past 19 years. He most recently was the founding pastor of a new United Methodist Church, Lighthouse UMC in Peachtree City. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Pamela Todd of Peachtree City; daughters, Abby and Hannah Todd of Peachtree City; mother, Susie Todd of Gainesville, Fla.; aunt, Janie Autz of Dallas, Texas. Memorial services were held Sunday, August 6, at Peachtree City United Methodist Church with Dr. Jim Ellison, the Rev. Beth Cook, Kevin Barnes, Dr. Dan Slagle and Bert McDade officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lighthouse United Methodist Church, Providence United Methodist Church, or a scholarship fund for Abby and Hannah Todd c/o Lighthouse United Methodist Church, 593 Bernard Rd, Fayetteville, GA 30215. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
