Leo A. Giles, 54, Peachtree City, died Aug. 3, 2006. He was born Feb. 1, 1952 in Corvallis, Ore. He had worked with Delta Air Lines since 1990. He worked as a mechanic for a short time before moving to the pilot training department where he taught operation specifications and B737 ground school, until his retirement in July, 2006. Memorial services were at the Carmichael-Hemperley chapel. Survivors include his wife, Mary Giles, Peachtree City; a son, Kris Giles, Peachtree City; a daughter, Jillian Giles, Peachtree City; mother, Connie Lampert, Oregon; sisters, Toni Anne and Gene Macomb, Oregon, and Joanne and Jim Watkins; Washington; and father-in-law, George Barp, Wyoming.
