Pat Boone will be the featured guest at Southwest Christian Care’s 14th Annual Benefit Dinner and Auction Gala set for Friday, Aug. 18, at the Georgia International Convention Center.

Proceeds from the banquet will benefit the hospice patients and medically fragile children who receive services from Southwest Christian Care.

The dinner will also include a silent auction beginning at 5:30 p.m. and a few very special items will be auctioned live during the evening.

For more than 20 years, Southwest Christian Care has provided quality hospice care to the community at no cost to the patients or their families. In 1996, its scope of services was broadened to include respite care for families with medically fragile children. After several years of providing respite care in homes, Hope House Children’s Respite Center opened its doors in 2002. Hope House is a very special place where the focus is on making medically fragile children feel at home, while giving their families a much-needed break from the stress and exhaustion that results from providing constant care.
