Mr. and Mrs. Melvin and Kayo Gilmore of Fayetteville announce the marriage of their daughter, Lisa Suzanne, to Lt. Col. Scott Alan Miller, son of Mrs. Dorothy Buerger of Kennett Square, Pa., wife of Ed Buerger. The groom is also the son of the late Dr. Cecil Miller.

The wedding took place at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alexandria, Va., on May 28, 2006.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Georgia, Sophia University (Tokyo), and George Mason University. She was a teacher in Prince William County, Va.

The groom is a graduate of Norwich University and the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.

The couple will reside in Nicosia, Cyprus, where the groom will assume duties in the Defense Attaché Office at the U.S. Embassy.
