James and Deborah McNutt of Powder Springs announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Candace Ruth Cotrell, to Patrick Furman Hizel, son of Jacqueline Farnsworth Hizel of Fayetteville and the late Loren O. Hizel.

The wedding will be Sept. 30, 2006, in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, where the couple also will honeymoon.
