Mr. and Mrs. Rick Swearingin of Tyrone announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Rachael Swearingin, to Will Whitman, son of Ms. Ann Whitman of Senoia and Patrick Whitman of Fayetteville.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Winn Swearingin of New Richmond, Ohio, Mr. and Mrs. P.W. Burden and the late Shirley Burden of Sarasota, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Trentman of Fort Myers, Fla.

The groom elect is the grandson of Mrs. Dorothy Whatley and Mr. Wilson Whatley of Senoia, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Whitman of Abbeville, Ga. and Grace Wilson, also of Abbeville.

The wedding will be Oct. 7, 2006, at the Atlanta Motor Speedway ballroom.

The couple will reside in Senoia.
