• Peachtree City’s Dave Schreyer tied for third place in the 53rd Your Community PhoneBook Georgia Open with a nine under par score of 279.
Schreyer won the 1996 and 2001 Georgia Open’s and just missed making the playoff in this year’s tournament.

Other locals who played well were Newnan’s Steve Gilley in 11th place (282) and Fayetteville’s Javier Sanchez in 31st place (288).
