In Atlanta, 54 percent of the population is African American, making this group the largest economic force in the city. Smart businesses are recognizing the potential for reaching this market – and real estate agents are no exception.

Butch Grimes, a leader in the real estate industry’s emerging markets, is offering a seminar on Aug. 25. The seminar will help real estate agents meet the needs of Atlanta’s growing African-American population. Grimes, a real estate and foreclosure expert, will offer agents insight into reaching the growing number of minority clients. He will provide solid strategies for inner-city real estate professionals, and tips on how agents can thrive despite increased competition.

Real estate agents will learn the following:

• How to operate as a business with a point-by-point plan of action

• A simple system that generates more than 150 referrals annually

• How sellers and buyers respond differently to your marketing

• How to position yourself with sellers to get the listing

“There are opportunities in every market,” said Grimes of the currently unstable real estate environment. “The minority markets are severely underserved, and present one of the fastest-growing segments of the population.”
The free CENTER STAGE - Emerging MarketsSM program will be held in Atlanta on Aug. 25 from 8 a.m. –noon at The W Hotel at Perimeter Center located at 111 Perimeter Center West. To register for Butch Grimes’ workshop in Atlanta, please call 404-371-5863 or email jeanne.m.goldie@wellsfargo.com.
