Dogwood Church, in cooperation with the Peachtree City Recreation Department, will host the second “Movie Under the Stars” on Friday, August 4, at the Baseball, Soccer Complex on South Highway 74 in Peachtree City. Dogwood will show the movie “Dreamer,” rated PG, at this free event. "Dreamer" tells the story of a father who, for the love of his daughter, sacrifices almost everything to save the life of an injured racehorse and bring the promising filly back to her former glory. The film stars Kurt Russell ("Miracle"), Dakota Fanning ("War of the Worlds") and Kris Kristofferson ("Lone Star"). The film will be shown on a screen that is 50 feet tall and 50 feet wide.

Bring the entire family for a fun filled evening in Peachtree City. Bring a blanket or low-back lawn chairs to sit in as well as your frisbees, footballs, or any other soft sport equipment to entertain you before the movie gets started. Gates open at 7 p.m. and the movie starts at 9 p.m. Beginning at 7 p.m., children will have two free rides to enjoy, the Moonwalk and The Giant Slide will be available for free until the movie starts. Concessions will also be available for purchase. Pets and alcoholic beverages are not allowed.
