Glenn Brewer with trains

The public is invited to the Fayetteville Outdoor Large Train Garden Railroad layout August 4 and August 5.

It will be held at the Brewer residence, 305 Beauregard Blvd. Tickets are $10 per family and the proceeds will go to the Fayette Art Center.

Adults and children alike will get to visit several miniature villages along three different railroad tracks and follow a passenger train or a logging train around the villages. The setting is behind the barn at the back of the Brewer home.

Due to parking limitations, families are requested to make a specific time reservation by calling the Fayette Art Center, 770-461-4494 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. July 31 through Aug. 1.

The time periods to visit the train layout are from 9 to 11 a.m., noon to 2 p.m., 4 to 6 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m.
