Wilma Jean Powell Brumbelow, 75, Kingwood, Texas, formerly of Fayetteville, died on July 20, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cliff Brumbelow, parents, Lynwood and Gladys Powell, a brother, Danny Powell, and sisters, Ruby Powell and Cherry Powell. She was retired from the City of East Point Parks and Recreations Department, and the City of Fayetteville Police Department. She was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park. Survivors include a daughter, Jeanie Eidson and Stan Phillips; grandchildren, Clay Phillips, Cory and Amanda Phillips, Clint Phillips, Cody Phillips, and Calyn Phillips, all of Houston, Texas; siblings, Bunky Powell, and Jerry Powell, both of Springfield, La., Ben Powell Sr., Union City, Ron Powell, Fayetteville, Bonnie Hill, Greenwell Springs, La., and Gary Powell, Hollywood, Fla.; nine nephews; and 11 nieces. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, East Point, was in charge.
