Kevin McInturff, formerly youth coordinator at Cornerstone United Methodist in Newnan, will assume duties as the new youth minister at Lighthouse United Methodist Church this month.

McInturff served for four years as a youth coordinator at Cornerstone UMC in Newnan and also assisted in worship at a number of camps, retreats, and other events though drama ministry.

During the day, he directs a software development group at Global Payments in Atlanta. He earned bachelors and masters degrees from Georgia Tech and lives in Newnan with his wife Becky, and his two daughters Betsy and Molly. He will begin working with Lighthouse in August and plans to start programs for youth in September.

Lighthouse is having its Grand Opening Aug. 13 at 10:30 am in McIntosh High School’s theater.
