Feldhahn will speak at First Baptist’s ‘Ladies Night Out’Tue, 08/01/2006 - 3:29pm

The Women’s Ministry at First Baptist Church of Peachtree City will kick off its fall semester with a “Ladies Night Out” featuring Shaunti Feldhahn at 7 p.m. on Monday, August 14, in the church fellowship hall. Feldhahn will discuss her book For Women Only: Understanding the Inner Lives of Men. Dessert will be served. Tickets for the event are $8. Childcare will be available with paid reservation. The ticket deadline is Aug. 6 due to limited seating. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Call Tess Price, 770-487-8133, for tickets. Feldhahn is a best selling author, newspaper columnist, and public policy analyst. She holds a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University and has worked on Wall Street and Capitol Hill. She is a weekly columnist on women’s and popular culture issues for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She and her husband, Jeff, are active leaders in their church. Moms for Moms will offer a 9-week study of Feldhahn’s book this fall. The group will begin meeting for the 2006-2007 year Aug. 22 and will meet on Tuesdays from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m. at First Baptist in Peachtree City. Breakfast and childcare will be provided.
