PFC Evan Miles Housley, United States Army, Calvary Scout, has been promoted to Private First Class. Housley began his Army career attending Basic and AIT training at Fort Knox, KY in 2005. PFC Housley is now stationed at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team B Troop, 5th Squadron, and 14th Cavalry Regiment. Deployment is scheduled for 2007. PFC Housley, after 30 hours of physical fitness endurance, was the only soldier in his platoon to receive the Calvary SPURS and is training to receive acceptance into Special Forces. PFC Housley passed his PT testing with a score of 320, and has also received the Army Achievement Medal. Housley graduated from McIntosh High School in 2004. He is the son of Terry and Jeanne Marie Housley of Peachtree City, Ga. login to post comments |
