Swainey on ‘Who's Who’ list

Janeece Swainey, executive vice president and qualifying broker of The Home Source Realtors, is among a prestigious list of “Who's Who in Atlanta Real Estate.” The announcement was made recently by The Atlanta Business Chronicle.

A licensed Realtor since 1991, Swainey has led The Home Source Realtors through a period of rapid growth. They are Fayette and Coweta residential real estate sales volume leaders, and now also market properties in Cobb, Henry, South Fulton, Pike and Meriwether counties.

Swainey holds the Graduate, REALTOR Institute (GRI) designation and is a member of the Fayette County Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club. She also has earned the elite Million Dollar Circle Platinum Award from the National Association of Home Builders Sales and Marketing Council. Prior to joining The Home Source Realtors in 1997, she also earned high sales volume awards in Oklahoma and North Carolina, which in addition to South Carolina, are states in which she also has been a licensed Realtor.

Swainey is a past president of the Fayette chapter of Women's Council of Realtors, a graduate of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce Leadership Fayette program, and an active member of the National Association of Realtors. She has been guest speaker at the regional convention of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, the nation's largest relocation network of independent real estate companies. Swainey is a member of the Fayette County, Newnan-Coweta and Atlanta Boards of Realtors.

During recent years, The Home Source Realtors has expanded from its initial General Brokerage office in Peachtree City to include a General Brokerage office in Newnan. In early 2006 the company will open a third General Brokerage office, in Fayetteville.

In addition, the company is the area leader in marketing new homes neighborhoods, including SummerGrove, Avery Park, Harper's Farm, and Heritage Ridge in Newnan, The Peninsula in Peachtree City, Tullamore and Lake Windsong in Tyrone, Burkwood Plantation in Fayetteville, and Brasch Park in Grantville.

During recent months Swainey has assumed additional responsibilities with Pathway Communities as they develop custom home neighborhoods in north Atlanta.
