John Craver Brogdon Jr., 77, Monroe, died July 17, 2006. He was born Aug. 24, 1928 in Fulton County, son of the late John Craver and Mary Edna Moore Brogdon Sr. He was preceded in death by a brother, J. T. Brogdon, and a sister, Ruby Hornesby. Services were at the Mt. Vernon Christian Church with interment at Level Creek United Methodist Church cemetery, Suwanee. Survivors include his wife, Gladys Ann Brogdon, Monroe; sons, Darrell Brogdon, Tyrone, and Jimmy Brogdon, Peachtree City; and a daughter, Mary Ann Black, Newnan; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Meadows Funeral Home, Monroe, was in charge.
