Want to learn to dance, sing, act, and play the piano, guitar, or violin? Georgia Academy of Dance and the Performing Arts is hosting an open house and class registration on July 29 and August 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. 

Georgia Academy of Dance and the Performing Arts will begin its 17th season of dance education with top, professional instructors from around the world. In addition to dance, the new performing arts program offers voice, music, and drama lessons with performance opportunities for students. Additionally, auditions for The GAD Workshop Players, a pre-professional drama group, will be held as part of the new performing arts curriculum. Classes will begin August 7.

Students at the Georgia Academy of Dance and the Performing Arts are excelling all over the nation and in Europe. Currently, students are studying at prestigious schools such as American Ballet Theatre, Rock School of the Pennsylvania Ballet, Burklyn Ballet Theatre, Atlanta Ballet, North Carolina Dance Theatre, and others. Because of the versatile fine arts education provided, many alumni have pursued professional careers in dance, theater, musical theater, and talent management agencies.
