On Sunday, July 30, the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church Council on Missions will host a Ministries Expo for non-profit organizations. The event is open to the public and the family Sunday school class will provide complimentary coffee, soft drinks, and doughnuts.

“As we are located in downtown Fayetteville near the square, the Ministry Expo was a logical opportunity to place the church and community programs before the residents of Fayette County,” stated Fayetteville First UMC Missions lay leader Len Gough, “and we would like to see this expo become one of the most anticipated events of the church year.”

The expo will focus on the various ministries and missions of the FFUMC church family and of the greater Fayette community.

Our intent is to create an awareness of the many ministries of our church and community.

“Many residents are not aware of the variety of services available in Fayette County,” added FFUMC program director Laura Cox, “this expo is one way to demonstrate and educate people on the love, care and compassion of our community.”

The expo will be open from 8 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. For additional information please contact Cox at 770-461-4313, extension 16 or lcox@fayettevillefirst.com or Gough at 770-460-7056 or len27@bellsouth.net.
