Martha Hornsby Hemperley, 84, Tyrone, died July 23, 2006. She was born June 13, 1922 in Fulton County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion R. Hemperley, and a son, Roy M. Hemperley. Services are today at 2 p.m., at the North Fayette United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Doug Burrell officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn, College Park. Survivors include a daughter, Elaine and John Sugg, Tyrone; grandchildren, Jason Sugg, Austin, Texas, and Miranda Sugg, Tyrone; a brother, Jim and Gayle Hornsby, Hendersville, Tenn.; and a sister, Mary Bloodworth, Clarkesville. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
