The Peachtree City Optimist Club recently presented three Fayette County students with $750 scholarships toward their college expenses.

On Monday, July 10 club members, students and their parents came together to recognize these students for their accomplishments. Not only are they good students academically but also they are all involved in their community to make it a better place to live. The recipients of the scholarships include Nicole Mathis of Sandy Creek High School, Kristyn Blackburn of McIntosh High School and Megan Moffatt of Starr’s Mill High School.
