• Natalie Michelle Crowley graduated cum laude from The University of Georgia in May with a degree in Speech Communiation. She was awarded an internship with Southern Progress Corporation in Birmingham, Alabama. Following graduation, she will begin her internship in advertising and marketing with a division of Southern Living Magazine.  Crowley is a 2002 graduate of McIntosh High School and is the daughter of Tim and Glenda Crowley of Peachtree City.

• Army National Guard Pvt. Greg Lee graduated on June 29 from the Military Police One Station Unit Training at Fort Leonard Wood Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training.
During the 20 weeks of training, the soldier received training in drill and ceremonies, military justice and laws, physical fitness, first aid and Army history, core values and traditions, basic combat skills and battlefield operations and tactics, and experienced the use of various weapons and the weapons defenses available.
The Advanced Individual Training course consisted of Military Police training. Pvt. Lee is the son Michael and Janice Lee of Tyrone, Ga.

• Sean Landry, a student at Rising Starr Middle School, has been selected to participate in the Junior National Student Leadership Conference (JNSLC) in Washington, D. C. The program is a leadership development program and will be attended by over 1,500 middle school students from 45 countries. During his week in Washington, Landry will participate in the Government in Action leadership conference. Previous guest speakers at the JNSLC have included former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, former Attorney General Janet Reno, Supreme Court Justices, Ambassadors and Pentagon and White House officials. He is the son of Michael and Jamie Landry of Peachtree City.

• Tray C. Wood has been commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force after completing the Air Force ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) program and graduating with a bachelor's degree from Valdosta State University.
ROTC is an educational program designed to provide college students an opportunity to be Air Force officers after completing military study courses and bachelor's degree requirements at a host college or university. The program is the largest and oldest source of commissioned officers for the Air Force, with a mission to produce highly qualified military leaders and better citizens for America.
Wood is assigned to the 20th Special Operations Squadron, Hurlburt Field, Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
He is the son of Craig F. and Judy E. Wood of Fayetteville, Ga. and a 2002 graduate of Fayette County High School, Fayetteville.
