Georgia Pressure wins ISA World Series
The Georgia Pressure 8U Softball, from Brooks, Ga. won the ISA World Series 8U Softball Tournament in Rome, Ga., the weekend of July 22.

The Pressure beat the East Cobb Chaos, 6-4, in the final game. Out of the 15 tournaments played by the Pressure in the 2006 season in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee, the Pressure took first place in 11, while playing in all 15 championship games.

The team took first place in the ASA Early Bird tournament, the King of the Mountain tournament, the ASA Honeycutt Border Battle, the USSSA Lady Tiger Benefit, the ESA Spring Fling, the USSSA Chattanooga Region Shoot-Out, the ASA Summer Classic, the USSSA Summer Slam VIII, the GSA State Open, the ASA Nationals and the ISA World Series.

The team finished in second place in the NSA World Series, the Nov. Classic Tournament, the Dacula Winter Classic and the NAFA Warner Park Opener.
