The Landmark Christian School Cross Country Boys and Girls have won the Region Championship again. This makes six out of the last seven years for the boys and six years in a row for the girls. The boys squad is made up of runners Mehamed Gomez, Alek Pike, Ryan Thames, Brett Lewis, Zach Speir, and Brad Eisenburg.The girls squad consists of Caroline Jones, Lauren McGuire, Christian McGuire, Elizabeth Gresham, Kaity Bulger, Jessie Thames, and Kassi Deel. Gomez, Pike, Eisenburg, Jones, Bulger, and Deel are from Fayette County; Ryan and Jessie Thames are from Fulton County; Speir and Gresham are from Coweta County; Brett Lewis is from Clayton County; and the McGuire girls are from Douglas County. Both the boys and the girls will run for a state title at Carrollton High School today at 8:30 and 9 a.m. respectively. Photo/Special.
