MHS freshman orientation

McIntosh High School Principal Tracie Fleming (left) and Cele Eifert, the new McIntosh Parent-Teacher-Student Organization (PTSO) president, discuss plans for the upcoming Freshman Fair-an open house and orientation for all incoming ninth graders. Students and parents are encouraged to attend this annual event so they can get class schedules and locate classrooms, buy lockers, find out about bus routes, buy spiritwear and join the PTSO and Academic Boosters, among other things. All students need to bring proof of residency-a current (within the last two months) electric or gas utility bill with the resident’s name and address or an affidavit of residency. The Freshman Fair is scheduled for Thursday July 27 in the McIntosh High School gymnasium and starts at 8:30 a.m. for students with last names starting with the letters A-C, 9:15 a.m. for D-Hor, 10:15 a.m. for Hos-Me, 11 a.m. for Mf-Se and 11:45 a.m. for Sf-Z.
