The PTC Cubs recently competed in the American Amateur Baseball Congress state baseball tournament at the Old National Baseball Complex. In a field of 16 teams, the Cubs fought through several close games to advance to the final against the Georgia Yard Dogs. Throughout the tournament, strong pitching, consistent hitting and intelligent coaching kept the Cubs alive. The Cubs fell to the Yard Dogs in the final and finished as the state runners-up. Both teams have been invited to Battle Creek, Mich., to compete in the AABC World Series. Congratulations to the players and coaches. Photo/Special.
