Flyers skate to 14U roller hockey title

The Flyers won the 14U Spring Roller Hockey Championship by defeating the Thrashers 2-1.

Brandon Hall and Chase Williams each scored for the Flyers, while Josh Robertson scored for the Thrashers. Michael Hervey won the President’s Cup Award, while Williams took home the Gretzky Award for most assists with 13. James Morgan won the Goalie Award with an .8982 save percentage.

Points leaders for the regular season were Williams, Brett Evans and Sam Lisicia. Blake Scherer was the AAA points leader in the middle school league and Andrew Sanders and Jake Dorman made the 1992 and 1993 Georgia State Wars’ teams.
