Peachtree City Mayor Harold Logsdon presented the New Neighbors League Club (NNLC) with a City Proclamation in honor of the Chartering of NNLC 20 years ago at a recent club meeting. NNLC was formed to bring together new residents of the city so they may meet and become friends while adjusting to new surroundings. Hundreds of women and their families have joined the club over the last 20 years.

Joan Thompson, the first Chapter Advisor, and Cheryl Beaudreault, the National President, attended the presentation. Beaudreault presided over the original chartering of the club. Carol Jensen-Linton, the current Club Director, accepted the proclamation on behalf of the club. She has been welcoming new neighbors for 10 years. She was joined by France Chamberland, the current Chapter President.

Currently, there are 250 members in NNLC. The club has a variety of activities including, monthly socials, tours and luncheons. If you would like more information on the club, contact Carol Jensen-Linton at 770-486-9116.
