Jeffrey Bulvin and John Murphy, divisional executive vice presidents for AXA Advisors and co-managers of its Georgia branch offices, recently announced the recipients of the 2006 AXA Achievement Community Scholarships. Each "AXA Achiever" will receive a $2,000 scholarship to the accredited college of their choice.

The following students are this year's recipients: Khaleedah Johnson from Riverdale High School in Riverdale; Jennifer Learnard from McIntosh High School in Peachtree City; Marsha Massey from Fayette County High School in Fayetteville; Mary Myers from Trion High School in Trion; and Allyson Rees from Whitefield Academy in Mableton.

The AXA Achievement Community Scholarships were created to bring advice and access to higher education into every community in which AXA has a presence. Every AXA Advisors' branch office nationwide is participating in the awarding of up to ten $2,000 scholarships to high school seniors who live and attend school in their area.

"The Georgia branch of AXA Advisors has a history of community involvement and we are proud to provide information and support to families so that they may help their children financially prepare for, attend and succeed in college," commented Bulvin. "AXA Advisors is about investments and we consider these scholarships an investment in these students and in our community."

All of the AXA Achievers were selected by Scholarship Management Services, a program of Scholarship America, the nation's largest nonprofit private sector and educational support organization.
