The Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) announced today that Mike Smith, Assistant Principal at Sara Harp Minter Elementary, has been re-elected to a second term on the board of directors of the more than 65,000 member professional organization, the largest such group in Georgia. He will represent the group’s Sixth District.

Mike has served as a PAGE system contact and as treasurer and president of his local chapter. He is a very active PAGE member and has helped the membership in Fayette County grow from a few hundred members to more than one thousand.

The election took place earlier this summer during the PAGE Annual Convention.

PAGE, the state's largest organization for professional educators, is a nonunion association of more than 65,000 teachers, administrators and support personnel members with the purpose of promoting better education for the children of Georgia.
