William Allen Nelms, 40, a lifelong resident of Fayetteville, died July 12, 2006. He was born Dec. 17, 1965 in Coweta County, son of the late Billy and Edith Wood Nelms. He had been a student McIntosh High School. He had been employed with Fairburn Ready Mix for 18 years. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Interment was at Ebenezer United Methodist Church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Gina Nelms, Fayetteville; children, Hannah Nicole, Hayley Elizabeth, and Hunter Harrison; a grandmother, Elizabeth Nelms, Fayetteville; an aunt, Barbara Nelms, Fayetteville; and a mother-in-law, Georgia Araba, Mableton. Contributions to an educational fund for the children may be made at any Regions Bank branch. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
