Eddie Lee Hardmon, 64, Jonesboro, died July 11, 2006. He was born July 10, 1942 in Montgomery County, Ala., son of Will and Jessie Hardmon Sr. He was preceded in death by a son, Jevor LeFonteal Hardmon. He had been a member of St. Paul Baptist Church, where he was a member of the choir, and later joined Prayer Temple Church. A special time of remembrance was held at the Carl J. Mowell chapel. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Bernice Hardmon, Jonesboro; children, Eddie and L’Tanya Howard, Fayetteville, Levi and Livi Hardmon, Dice and Cerease Hardmon, Chabon and Ressie Hardmon, and Angelet Hardmon, all of Jonesboro, Levetta and Stanley Reed, and Keisha Hardmon, all of New York, Vengelo and Sylvia Hardmon, New Jersey; a brother, Will Hardmon Jr., New York; and sisters, Lola Hardmon, Montgomery, and Lucille Burchett, Detroit. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
