Janice Brown Neville, 72, Gainesville, formerly of Fayetteville, died June 30, 2006. She was born Sept. 8, 1934 in Fayette County, daughter of the late Embry and Sara Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. “Bob” Neville. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Royeese Stowe officiating. Interment was at camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include a son, Marcus and Sonja Neville, Gainesville; daughters, Teri and Darrell Long, Gainesville, and Janie and Don Smigelski, Harrisburg, N. C.; grandchildren, Krystal and Michael Parker, Alex, Tiffany, and Griffin Neville, all of Gainesville; and a sister, Bernice and Russell Edmondson, Fayetteville. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
