The 8U Home Plate Chili Dogs went 4-2 in the tournament to advance to the AABC Southeast Regional Tournament in McDonough, Ga. on July 13-17. They eliminated the Gresham Park A’s in an exciting and emotional semi-final game 11-8 before falling to the Rock Chapel Tar Heels in the Championship game which immediately followed the A’s game.
