The Fayette County Mets recently won the AABC Pee Wee Reese Divison 2 championship at Kiwanis Park in Fayetteville. The Mets went 13-2 during the regular season and swept the tournament to win the championship. Team members are Chris Caldwell, Joseph Scarborough, Cody Hammett, Willis Howard, Greg Hopkins, Scott McCullough, Scott Zinkel, Stephen Grant, Brandon Landers, James Marmol, Thomas Basaraba, Casey Lee, Alex Aikin, Nick Wheatley and Matt Thomas.
