PTC 10-11 All Stars win their district, head to state tourney

The Peachtree City Little League 10-11 All-Star team won the District 4 Championship and will now play in the state tournament in Lavonia. The tournament starts tomorrow.

The team opened up the district tournament with a 19-1 victory over Senoia with 16 of their runs coming in the second inning. In their next game, the team overcame a 6-2 deficit against West Point in the final inning and won 11-6. The two teams faced off one more time for the dsitrict title, and Peachtree City won 7-0.
